Code Navigation

Code navigation is essential for an IDE. Quickly finding code of interest can save a lot of time.
Editor Window Editor Window
The editor window provides two drop down controls for code navigation. Use left drop down control to locate types and use right drop down controls to locate variables or functions (member variables/functions in case of C++). You can also receive code information by simply hover the mouse over the code element.

Navigation Navigation Bar
QuickDev Studio navigation menu bar and navigation toolbar provides direct source code navigation with a single click. You can navigate source code associated with tasks, breakpoints, bookmarks, errors or call stacks. Each document view port you visited are recorded automatically so that you can navigate document view ports forward or backward.

File Search File Search
When the project contains many files under multiple levels of folders, it can be quite difficult to find the file you are looking for. Using Workspace view browser search facility, you can find a file by keywords as long as you know the file name or part of it.

Class Finder Class Finder
Using class view, you can locate the definition of a class, a struct, an enum, an union or any of their members with one click. Using class view browser search facility, you can find a complex type by keywords as long as you know the type name or part of it.

Program Finder Program Finder
Using program view, you can locate the definition of a function or a variable with one click. Using program view browser search facility, you can find a function or a variable by keywords as long as you know the name or part of it.

No, the QuickDev Studio provides an easy to use, highly configurable, GUI based build system to replace the functionalities of the makefile.

Does QuickDev Studio support source level debugging?

Yes, the QuickDev Studio comes with a full featured source level debugger capable of debugging multi-core multi-target systems. Using QuickDev Debug Agent, you can perform remote debugging via internet or intranet.

Does QuickDev Studio support ARM/Thumb interworking?

Yes, QuickDev Studio is fully aware of instruction size. The code window is capable of handling both ARM, Thumb and ARM/Thumb mixed modules.
